First wasp of the year

There is currently a wasp curled up - sorry, it's moving again - on the window at the other side of the room from my desk. These are probably my least favourite creatures. I know all the good things they do in gardens, but if it is any more active than it presently is, it will be ritually slaughtered with the University of Oxford Annual Review when it comes to settle.

EDIT 12.34pm It has managed to make its own way out.
