Last night's presentation went well. My demonstration of the online TGW was faultless on the technology's side, with no hold-ups, and I think I took questions rather well. The first question was all about how the database worked, so I explained to an audience largely made up of retired folk about tagging and the relationship between our database tools used in-house and the tidied-up interface of the main product. The Said Business School is extremely well funded - they are the only institution in Oxford, allegedly, with fully-integrated audio-visual equipment, with DVD, video, computer and OHP equipment all interlinked. This is the reason the society hosting us were using one of its lecture rooms as a venue. The room itself was comfortable, though the swivel chairs with their thin high broad backs took some getting used to. An old family friend from Newcastle, now in Oxford, turned up as well, which was a surprise, but a good one.
