Remodelling

I've almost finished adding notes to my paper, in preparation for the remodelling proper for publication which will have to take place next weekend. As indicated earlier, I've been accepting too many invitations and so from late afternoon Saturday to the early hours of Sunday morning was at Rustica's, as anticipated in the last entry, with other SocT people, watching the extended edition of The Return of the King. I hadn't seen the cinema release so can't judge it by comparison; but on the whole the battle sequences were over-long and much of the dialogue was pretty leaden. That being said the visuals were superb - particularly the New Zealand landscape - but the fantasy architecture was too overblown for my taste.

EDIT Finished! Tomorrow, return to TGW, of course (I wish I could edit my own writing as cleanly as I do other people's) and the dentist. But for now - bed.
