On Saturday I wrote...
I hope that a repeat of the suffragist drama Shoulder to Shoulder, which Verity co-devised with Midge Mackenzie and Georgia Brown (also known for playing Worf's mother in Star Trek: The Next Generation, is in the offing.
I've not been paying attention to the Radio Times! Tonight on BBC 4, the Annie Kenney episode of Shoulder to Shoulder, following a repeat of Verity Lambert: Drama Queen.
ETA I'm watching this now. It's brilliant, and the gap of sixty years between the events described and the dramatization, and the thirty-four years between production and now, speak (if you excuse the cliché) of the worlds we have lost in the intervals.
