The River Glyme this morning

The meadows north of the Glyme and visible from my window have been filling up with water for the last few weeks, and the river next to them has been rising too. Today, the two have joined. On the picture, the light green strip of grass running into the top of the garage roof is where the far bank of the Glyme normally is, and I can usually only see a little running water from my window, rather than today's broad stream.
