Wheel's on fire?

I was telling people last night that my birthday acts as a caesura in my life; once it's over I can start thinking about Christmas. Something else due in December is my car's MOT; I'd forgotten how early it was in the month and how late we now were in November. So it's now being done at the garage outside Woodstock on Saturday morning at 8am, which will necessitate an earlier departure than there may have been from SocT's video night on Friday (where we will be watching Mirrormask); and pray that nothing needs doing, as it will otherwise complicate my journey to London to join gervase_fen for Missing Believed Wiped 2006.
