In other news, I've now written to PC ServiceCall customer services, and copied the letter to the MD of the relevant part of the parent company, Dixons Group plc, detailing their bad service and complaining about the fact that there is no prospect of my PC, still in warranty, being restored to health while PC ServiceCall are contractually unable to complain to the supplier of update discs (a situation which I've pointed out makes a nonsense of the idea that the supplier is accountable to their customer). I shall see what arises.
