...but I can't seem to find the words to report it in great detail. I now have a new bed, as found for me on eBay by my sister, who came up to help me put it together. We then went into London where I saw the ENO/Mark Morris production of King Arthur by Purcell and Dryden - but there was very little of Dryden left as Morris had discarded the text and the plot, leaving a series of 'production numbers'. The tickets were arranged by my sister's actor boyfriend, whom I hadn't met before - he is a friendly, honest and straightforward fellow, so all is well there.
This weekend looks like it exists for straightening out the flat a bit more - there are large chunks of bed to navigate until the council takes them away next Friday - and for catching up on the TGW work put to one side for job applications earlier in the week; and also for one more job application, because one shouldn't pass up opportunities.
Oh, and Doctor Who of course. Funnily enough - well, not actually - fandom now seems far more preoccupied with 'Army of Ghosts', next Saturday's episode, than it does with tomorrow's, 'Fear Her'.
That wasn't so bad, was it?
